These terms apply to this website and to any order you place through it. By placing an order you accept them. Please read the section on brand references, because it explains exactly what you are buying and what you are not.

Who you are buying from

PerfumeLab is an independent perfume house operating from Kuwait. You can reach us at kw.perfumelab@gmail.com or through our contact form, and we answer questions about orders, returns and these terms at the same address.

Brand references, and what we are not

This is the most important section on this page.

Every fragrance sold here is an original PerfumeLab composition, made by us and sold under our own name. Each product has its own PerfumeLab name and its own specimen number.

Some products carry a note saying which well known fragrance inspired them, and the site groups products by the house that inspired them. Those names appear for one reason only: to describe, honestly and in our own opinion, the style of scent our composition sits closest to, so you can find something you might like. That is all they mean.

To be completely clear:

• PerfumeLab is not affiliated with, endorsed by, licensed by, sponsored by or connected to any of the fragrance houses named anywhere on this site.
• Our products are not copies, replicas, duplicates or counterfeits of anybody else’s product, and we do not describe them as such.
• We do not sell or resell any other company’s product.
• All third-party brand names and fragrance names are the trademarks of their respective owners. We claim no right in them.
• We use no third-party logo, packaging, bottle design, artwork or photography.
• Any comparison we make is our own subjective opinion about how a scent smells. Scent is personal, opinions about it differ, and nothing we say about a reference fragrance is a statement about that company or its products.

If you own a trademark and believe something on this site goes further than the honest description above, please write to us at kw.perfumelab@gmail.com and we will review it promptly.

Our own content

The PerfumeLab name, our product names, our photography, our text and the design of this site belong to us. Please do not copy or republish them without asking.

Product descriptions

We describe our fragrances as accurately as we can. Colours on screen vary between devices, and scent is affected by skin, temperature and how it is stored, so the same fragrance can smell different on two people. Descriptions of how a fragrance smells are our honest opinion, not a guarantee of how you will experience it.

Where we have no real information about something, we leave it out rather than fill it in. We do not publish invented ratings, invented review counts or invented similarity percentages.

Who can order

You need to be 18 or over to place an order.

Orders and prices

All prices are in Kuwaiti Dinar and are the final price. No VAT or sales tax is applied, because none currently applies to retail goods in Kuwait.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order to you. We may decline an order, for example if we cannot prepare the fragrance, if the delivery address is outside the area we cover, or if we cannot reach you to confirm.

Prices can change at any time, but a change never affects an order we have already confirmed.

If a price or a product detail is obviously wrong, we will contact you before doing anything, and you can confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

Preparation and delivery

We guarantee delivery anywhere in Kuwait within 24 hours of confirming your order. The 24 hours is measured from our confirmation, not from the moment you click order.

Every fragrance is blended after you order it, and we do not hold finished stock, which is why you will not see stock counts on this site. That preparation happens inside the 24 hours.

We deliver within Kuwait only.

Delivery costs KD 2.000. Orders of KD 10.000 or more are delivered free. The delivery charge is always shown at checkout before you confirm.

If we miss the 24 hours, you can cancel for a full refund, including any delivery charge, and you do not have to accept the order when it does arrive. Just tell us. We will also contact you ourselves if we can see we are going to be late.

The guarantee covers what we control. It does not apply where we cannot reach you to confirm, where the address given to us is wrong or incomplete, where nobody is available to receive the order, or where delivery is prevented by something outside our control such as weather, a road closure or a public emergency. In those cases we will agree a new time with you.

Payment

Cash on delivery is currently the only way to pay. You pay the courier when your order arrives. Please have the amount ready. We never ask for card details, and we never ask for payment by any other method, so treat any message that does as fraudulent and tell us.

Cancelling and returning

See our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms and sets out your right to cancel.

Using this site

Please do not attempt to break into the site, disrupt it, scrape it automatically, or submit somebody else’s personal information through our forms. We may refuse service to anyone doing so.

If you create an account, keep your password to yourself. Tell us if you think somebody else is using it.

If something goes wrong

Fragrance is applied to skin and can irritate some people. Check the ingredients if you have known sensitivities, test a small amount on a small area before extended wear, and stop using it if you have a reaction. Keep perfume away from eyes, away from flame and out of reach of children.

We are responsible for supplying what you ordered, in the condition described, and for putting it right if we do not. We are not responsible for losses that were not a foreseeable result of us getting something wrong. Except where the loss was caused by our own serious fault, our liability for an order is limited to what you paid for it.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law, including your rights as a consumer in Kuwait and any liability that cannot legally be excluded, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with anything, write to kw.perfumelab@gmail.com and we will try to sort it out. If we cannot resolve it between us, you keep your right to take the matter to the consumer protection authorities in Kuwait.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you placed it. The date at the top tells you when this version was published.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and the courts of Kuwait deal with any dispute.
